A New Accumulator Fuel Injection System for Direct Injection Diesel Engines 821114
The development of a new accumulator-type fuel injection system for direct injection diesel engines is described. Some revised injectors have been developed giving consistent fuel delivery. Both single and multi-cylinder engines have been run and the results reveal the excellent capabilities of a new accumulator fuel injection system with an improvement in fuel economy and black smoke especially at medium or low engine speeds.
This system can be installed easily on current diesel engines with little or no modification.
