Hino H-Series Diesel Engine - Recent Progress in Its Design and Application 860457

Hino H-Series engines have been developed from the original which was designed as an indirect injection diesel in 1969. This paper describes the changes resulting in the latest direct injection version of it which develops much more power and economy than the original while maintaining the same box volume. The recent features of its wider application are also described.
