Flow-Controlled Air Dryer Regeneration System 861963

Dry air is an important safety factor for automotive air brake systems. The basic physics of heatless air drying are outlined. Some real solutions are introduced. The operating limits of dual chamber air-dryers are identified. An electronic control system is described which improves air-dryer performance while minimizing energy consumption and air wastage, thereby improving the performance and reliability of the pneumatic equipment.
