NEW DEERE 7.6L ENGINE 881284

A new member of the John Deere 400 Series engine family was developed and entered production in September 1987. The piston, cylinder head, valves, camshaft, valve train, turbocharger, intercooler, exhaust systems, injection system, and front gear train were significantly improved.
A new accessory gear drive was developed and electronic injection pump controls were made available. The results have been increased power capability, improved performance. Improved cold starting and the availability of new application features.
