Analysis of the Causes of Irregular Wear of Tyres, Investigation Methods 890088
Tyre wear is not only the tyre manufacturer's responsibility: it is also subordinate to the elastokinematic characteristics of the wheel trains, particularly if wear is irregular. An investigation method of causes of abnormal tyre wear using infra-red thermography and statistical analysis of wheel alignment under operating conditions has been developped and tested.
