Simultaneous Reduction of Soot and NO x in Diesel Engines by Homogeneous Catalysis of Group Platinum Metals 891634

Simultaneous reduction of soot and NOx can be achieved in diesel engines by the introduction of group platinum metals into the combustion chemistry. An after-market emissions control technique has been developed for on-highway and stationary applications of diesel engines providing significant reductions of soot and NOx during transient and steady-state test cycles.
