RIM encapsulated modular windows are rapidly becoming widespread in the automotive industry. In-mold coating remains the most cost effective method of producing durable RIM encapsulated windows. Application of in-mold coatings by robotic spray units has been evaluated for increasing the productivity and quality of this process.
