Case Study, An Encapsulated Window Program Between a U.S. Supplier and a Japanese Automobile Company 900519
This presentation will review the steps taken to apply encapsulated window technology and expertise to a vehicle program for a Japanese manufacturer.
Insight will be given as to the use of in-house Computed Aided Design (CAD) and data transfer capabilities. Design details unique to the encapsulate window module will be reviewed as well as how the company organized the engineering management of the program to optimize communication and reduce business conflicts. A summary will be given as to what technical and business factors are necessary to have a successful international program.
