Calibrated Impact as Means of Increasing Thin Shell Accuracy 970719
There is discussion about some aspects of shell calibration in the report. Shell shape errors by calibration without impact are estimated. Calculation algorithm of optimal impact velocity and minimal error of shell size is offered for any combination of shell and die materials. Results of this algorithm usage are presented.
