Experimental Study on Energy Consumption and Emissions of Heavy-Duty
Hybrid Dump Truck 2023-01-7014
The simultaneous testing of energy consumption and emissions of heavy-duty hybrid
Dump Truck was carried out based on the chassis dynamometer. The effects of
different working conditions on energy consumption and emissions were analyzed.
A Parallel hybrid dump truck with diesel in phase VI of China was selected to
test the energy consumption and emissions by using engine mode and hybrid mode
respectively under the conditions of CHTC-D and C-WTVC. The results show that
compared with pure engine mode, CHTC-D condition of heavy hybrid dump truck has
higher energy saving potential than C-WTVC condition, and the energy saving
rates are 23.8 % and 18.3 % respectively; For the hybrid mode, the specific
emissions of CO2 under C-WTVC and CHTC-D conditions were 1071 g/km
and 1010 g/km, respectively. The CO2 emissions in CHTC-D is 5.7 %
lower than that in C-WTVC; The specific emission of CO2 in hybrid
mode is higher than that in pure engine mode, and the CHTC-D and the C-WTVC are
increased by 3.2 % and 4.6 %, respectively. Under CHTC-D condition, the
NOx specific emissions of engine mode are the same as those of
hybrid mode, which are both 0.63g/kg, while under C-WTVC condition, the
NOx specific emissions of engine mode and hybrid mode are 0.18
g/kWh and 1.60 g/kWh, respectively, and the latter has the highest
NOx emissions; The PN emissions of hybrid mode is higher than
that of engine mode, no matter under CHTC-D or C-WTVC conditions.
